Getting into and out of Bankruptcy I did not receive notice that I was to be made bankrupt! I am a solvent bankrupt, can I get out of bankruptcy? Can I do an Individual Voluntary Arrangement if I am bankrupt? Will I lose my house?
We deal with an increasing number of cases where a statutory demand has been received but ignored and a bankruptcy petition has quickly followed. Normally these individuals are solvent bankrupts and we can help them reverse the bankruptcy. However going into bankruptcy incurs significant costs for the individual, which would have been avoided if action had been taken prior to bankruptcy.
For further advice in this area contact us as soon as possible; either when you receive a statutory demand, are threatened with bankruptcy, or find you have been made bankrupt. It is possible to avoid or lessen the damage/cost by seeking the right advice at this time.
Business Problems Cashflow problem? Creditors threatening? Management information not available? Is the business viable? Is The bank reducing your facility? Statutory demand or bankruptcy petition received?
Most businesses experience financial problems at some stage, whatever their size, but not every business survives. Getting practical business advice and help to deal with problems when you need it, can help avert otherwise terminal results. Our knowledge and experience of the business environment and how to face up to the challenges it presents, allows us to help business owners find practical ways to address these problems as they arise. We can provide a handholding service where necessary and /or carry out a business health check to identify the problems and possible solutions including refinance arrangements.
We advise company directors on the risks of trading on through a rough patch and the pros and cons of voluntary arrangements, or if this is not an option, we can advise on how best to wind down your business. Our objective is to either help business owners preserve and improve their businesses so they can pay their creditors and continue to earn a living, or if this is not possible to maximise the return to creditors through an appropriate voluntary arrangement which either allows part or all of the business to be saved or salvaged.
Corporate Reorganisation Where businesses find themselves in difficulty, we offer advice and assistance in implementing whichever procedure is the most appropriate for them, as between orderly run down, informal arrangement, administration, company voluntary arrangement, creditors voluntary liquidation, members voluntary liquidation etc.
